Hi All,
Hello,
I just i complied the
pcsc-lite-1.3.2,ccid-1.1.0,libusb-0.1.12
and ported on embedded Linux box(including share lib)
which runs
on linux-2.4.21(gcc-3.2.3,glibc-2.3.2), but when run pcscd it does not
detect the reader(SCR331), i checked
the/usr/local/pcsc/driver/if-ccid.bundle/Contents/Info.plist
(vendorID=4E6 and productid=e001) support is there for this
device,
when i run the dmesg also it shows my device,
then i checked in /proc/bus/usb/devices it also shows my
device
But when i run manuly or from rc.d/init.d/pcscd it does not
detect my
device it just exit(pcscd).
can some one please point where i went wrong.
Run pcscd in debug mode.
$ pcscd --foreground --debug
Bye,
Further help:
if you read
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid.html
in the scr 331 section, you will find a note about needing to upgrade the
firmware to v 5.18 or later.
if you look in either the output of Ludovic's command above, or in the
syslog(/var/log/messages) file just after plugging the reader in, you may see
pcscd indicate the version of firmware on the device is bogus.
if you follow the "upgrade the firmware" link (on the ccid page above) and
search for scr331 you should find a link to new firmware. You need a windows
box to install it, but after upgrade my SCR331 "Just Works" with Ludovic's
CCID driver.
