I use libcoolkey to check NMCI mail at https://webmail.nmci.navy.mil

but often, EVERY SINGLE TIME I click on a new link inside the OWA,
despite saving the password, it prompts for user/pass and both are
blank.
I am on an F8 machine. I tried talking to the author of firefox's DoD
configuration add on, but he needs me to explain more of what is going
on. Can anyone tell me if there's some way to get around this
silliness?

Ask them to implement OWA smart card access according to Microsoft's directions:
"Log onto Outlook Web Access with Smart Cards"
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/technetmag/issues/2007/07/SmartCards/

Which requires they have "Microsoft® Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006" in front of the exchange server to make exchange accept a Kerberos ticket based on a smart card login to ISA. [As I understand it.]
