Hi,
Hello,
I'm using a Xiring XI-SIGN USB V2 PinPad reader with Firefox application, i
have IAS ECC Middleware installed which provides the gclib.dll PKCS#11
module for Firefox. The problem i'm facing is when i click on 'Log in'
button from Device Manager after selecting ECC eID module/device (Firefox ->
Options->Encryption->Security Devices ), Firefox pops up a dialog for
entering the PIN.
Instead asking PIN here, i 'm expecting a request for entering PIN at the
PinPad reader display. At ccid side, i should get 0x42330006 control code.
Is there any way disable this Pin Dialog from Firefox side. I'm using
Firefox 21.0
You are using a proprietary PKCS#11 library on Windows (gclib.dll).
You should contact the software provider support team.
Also see:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295963
You could also use the OpenSC pkcs11-spy to see the PKCS#11
calls. See if the gclib.dll returns CKF_PROTECTED_AUTHENTICATION_PATH
This woulds show if it is a FireFox problem or the gclib.dll problem.
