Elizeu,

Thanks, this is helpful. I'll add error checking for the missing portType-operation condition. I'll also update the wsdl2java Ant task so that it always dumps stack for fatal exceptions, even when Ant is not in debug mode.

Regards,
Ian

Hi Elizeu,

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for the fast answer!

Please try running Ant again with debug out put enabled, i.e.:

ant -d generate

Hopefully, this will output a stack trace for the NPE.

You're right! I got the trace however I could'nt get rid of the NPE by investigating the trace.

I've adopted the approach of reducing my already simple WSDL to the WSDL-Template and I put things incrementaly.

I figured out that the NPE is thrown because it was missing an <operation> declaration nested in <portType> that corresponds to an <operation> nested in <binding>.

However, after fixing that, I got a new exception:

RuntimeException: "WSDL input element should have exactly one part".

I found the solution in a previous message posted by you with respect the "WSDL input" error message.

Thanks,
Ian

    Thanks,

    Elizeu

    Hi There,

I'm trying to generate and deploy a service using the Muse 1.0 beta version, however when I run "ant generate", I get the message:

[wsdl2Java] Generating XMLBeans for WSDL file "/tcat/webapps/muse/_tmp_/MySystem.wsdl"...
[wsdl2Java] Loading wsdl file /tcat/webapps/muse/_tmp_/MySystem.wsdl
[wsdl2Java] Processing 1 schema(s) in /tcat/webapps/muse/_tmp_/MySystem.wsdl

BUILD FAILED
/home/elizeu/OurGrid/CDDLM/MGStatus/build.xml:56: java.lang.NullPointerException

Total time: 40 seconds

    Does Someone have any clarifications?

    Thanks in advance. ---
