Hello,
This is my first post to this group. I´m working on a management
architecture for PDAs and small devices in my master degree. My
proposal is based on WSDM MUWS specifications. I´ve found Muse project
as a good initial implementation of the WSDM framework. Although it is
complete, its not lightweight enough to support portable devices. I´ve
been wondering, does anyone here has any thoughs or advices for that?
Should I start a new implementation from scratch? My idea is to have a
very tiny web service that use MUWS specifications and support
management of PDAs including the device itself and the applications
that run on it (which use an API for that).
Thanks

Fernando,
We have been involved with interops with IBM in which they have
demonstrated WSDM running on a Blackberry device. I have no idea of the
details, such as is it a full implementation or merely coded for support
of the interops and not a generic implementation....I would suggest
looking for a list for IBM's ETTK and asking around there....Basically
it is a Blackberry apps, so their team will know what you are talking
about...
That has been the only thing I've heard of about running WSDM on a
pda...I hope that helps....
p.s. If you decide to do an implementation yourself...lets chat...maybe
we can get it into the project if you are interested.....
