We haven't converted over to the new 1.0 release; so no we aren't using the new 1.0 release. We aren't creating resources at all. We had figured that we could call Home.getInstance, but figured it too much to try and create a ResourceContext to pass it.

Are you creating your resources in the ...Home.init() method? -S -----Original Message----- From: James Lorenzen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2005 4:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Create a Resource on startup Is there a way for a Resource to be created when starting the application server, like weblogic? Right now, instances are created when muse receives a SOAP Request. This first request is a little slow in responding. Creating a Servlet that loads on startup doesn't work either because the application server is not completly up yet, and sending a SOAP request to its port obviously doesn't work.
