[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MUSE-129?page=comments#action_12442718 ] Dan Jemiolo commented on MUSE-129: ----------------------------------
Also - we should test this with the current OSGi/Equinox support, and then get it to work with Apache Felix. The goal here is support of the J2ME Foundation profile (1.0). See: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/J9 http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Execution_Environments > SOAP servlet for OSGi and constrained devices > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: MUSE-129 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MUSE-129 > Project: Muse > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Other > Affects Versions: 2.0.0 > Reporter: Dan Jemiolo > Assigned To: Dan Jemiolo > Fix For: 2.1.0 > > > In the past, we have created a small "soap engine", which is really just a > servlet that takes an envelope from an HTTP POST request and passes it to the > isolation layer. this tiny soap servlet allowed us to deploy muse on OSGi 3.x > and could now be used for OSGi 4.x, especially on constrained devices > (support for J2ME). Muse-based endpoints using this servlet would take up > about 500-600K on disk. > We had this code in our initial contribution but we never put it in /trunk > because of Joel's work with OSGi and Axis2. We'd like to add it back now, as > a separate module, and possibly have it work with the OSGi support. If the > latter is too much effort, we can at least have it in /trunk and explain how > to deploy it. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
