Our current OSGi packaging divides the Muse distribution by API and
Implementation, as well as by Function, so we wind up with a bundle for 2XSpec#
bundles, plus the core, plus the environment. This packaging supports maximum
flexibility for adopters who may wish to replace and/or remove portions of the
distribution, but for users who want to use all of Muse, the sheer number of
bundles seems excessive.
I propose supporting two OSGi distributions for muse: the current flexible
option, and a 'complete' option, which combines the OSGi core with all of the
api and implementation bundles. This complete bundle will retain the ability to
add new extensions (using the same mechanism that the current packaging uses).
