Thanks a lot for the answer... I really thought that there was a <latex>
tag from some of the postings.
In any case, I think that the discussion that spun off from my question
is very interesting because I would really like to publish the same
document in different formats and, therefore, I wanted to focus these
latex-only formatting things to appear only in the pdf document.
