Hello Dave, I would like to suggest you take a look at the WSDM tooling in Eclipse ( I posted another note on the new release of the tooling ); that may very well solve your issue with creating consumers because you can just build an endpoint with a few clicks by choosing which capabilities you want (and also create your own capabilities) using the tooling. You can also use the Managed Agent Explorer to test your WS-N producer.
Our intent has been to provide basic command line tooling in Apache Muse and more advanced UI based tooling in Eclipse. The Eclipse tooling uses the code generation function in Apache Muse but relieves WSDM adopters from having to know the nitty gritty details of WS artifacts and Muse. Like creating a java2wsdl.sh script for it. If you want to be a Consumer of the WS-Notification then you have to hand carve your own Consumer.wsdl file. It would be nice to just download the Producer WSDL and run the wsdl2java.sh script and have Consumer code ready. Just some food for thought. -----Original Message----- From: Balan Subramanian [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2007 8:17 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Muse 2.3 release Hello Riaz, We are looking for a Muse release towards the end of September. The primary content we anticipate is a test framework, bug fixes, few changes to the resource manager and a security model. We intend to publish a release plan by mid-July.
