Hello Zhiguang, Thanks for your email. To answer your question I am very interested in audio coding (codecs, etc) and specifically applications involving ultra low power body-worn devices.
There are some really exciting things going on with Bluetooth Low Energy and the so-called "Low Complexity" audio codec. If you are interested, there are a number of mailing lists with the Bluetooth SIG. https://www.bluetooth.com/learn-about-bluetooth/recent-enhancements/le-audio/ https://www.bluetooth.com/learn-about-bluetooth/recent-enhancements/le-audio/le-audio-specifications/ Best regards, David On Tue, Jul 6, 2021 at 1:13 PM Zhiguang Zhang <[email protected]> wrote: > > Ross > > thanks. i was also interested in those that are designed for wireless and > audio (not only internet / data) transmission > > -ez > > On Tue, Jul 6, 2021 at 8:42 AM Ross Bencina <[email protected]> > wrote: >> >> On 5/07/2021 12:04 am, Zhiguang Zhang wrote: >> > 2) does anyone know of any interest groups and mailing lists (besides >> > those affiliated with IEEE)? >> >> Xiph.org runs a bunch of mailing lists related to their codecs: >> >> http://lists.xiph.org/mailman/listinfo
