Hi all,

there is generally no real reason to apologise for double postings...

... as long as you simply refrain from doing so! However:

As for the content of the question people like to know more details
before opening the pocket:

1) Who is the financial support going to and what is it for?
2) For the congress itself? - for traveling?
3) What in detail means diversity and inclusivity?
4) Who benefits from it? - The overpriced resort in California?

I would suggest simply organising the congress in a less exclusive
environment where you don't have to fork out as much money. You can
discuss technical facts in normal offices without having great nature
and lakes around you and pay californian spring prices.

What do you think?

And if you really have a problem raising money - how about asking the
orange man for sponsorship? After all, he has saved so much money by
optimising the state, kicking out judges, cutting healthcare, stopping
USAID, disregarding veterans' services and kicking in their ass, laying
off rangers that there should be a few bucks left over to finance some
science. The Orange Man in detail should honour the achievements of
audio technology, after all, because he and his party - more than anyone
else - have benefited from those modern AI-generated lie videos and
audio tracks to blame oponents and people they dislike.

However, you see, for me, it is not so 100% clear why anyone has to beg
for money here. I have seen $160,- appartments there already in the
internet and think this is still affordable.

Other Opinions?

But maybe the prices there now are much higher because of some
additional tarriffs on food or whatever or they now have to employ very
expensive american servants after the cheap foreigners, who had
previously been exploited all the time, have all been deported???

Or do they USA demand extra fees to let "diversity" in?

hm, however ....

Anyway, I wish you a lot of fun and success at the congress.

P.S. When it comes to the planned entry into the USA - I would like to
point you to the recent the travel warnings issued by the German Foreign
Office "Auswärtiges Amt" in view of the current situation there:
It is possible that, even when having a valid VISA, you may suddenly be
surprised and arrested by masked members of the state security police,
as happened to a Turkish, a Spanish and an Italian and several others,
because someone in the new government found out, that they had once said
something critical about the Orange Man in the past, because "they do
not know their sex" (we know which people are meant by that phrase) or
simply they expressed their opinion about the creative renaming of
former mexican sea bays - a procedure documented in several videos and
reports in which kidnapping-like scenes took place, which not only
uninvolved American witnesses - but in the meantime even journalists
from the W-Post and the NY-Times had compared to Gestapo methods.
