This Message Is From an External Sender
This message came from outside your organization.
What I believe is happening, Sampo, is that the Columbia University email server is now appending (or prepending) an alert that some email has come from outside the university. I believe long ago Douglas Repetto has left the music-dsp mailing list ***totally*** on auto-pilot at Columbia and this change, which affects even mailing lists running on the university host.
It may also have duplicated (by quoting) some text that I have written.
