Hi Frank,
Moselle looks pretty interesting. I'm tempted to give it a test run.

I assume you're looking for feedback on the software, however, just
looking at the website, a couple things spring to mind.
1) As a programmer, good documentation makes it easier to get started
with a new tool. Take Vuejs for example. https://vuejs.org/
- There is a "Guide" which shows how to use Vue. (Great when you're a
newbie.)
- There is a "API" which works as a reference once you know what you're
doing.
- There are "Examples" which provide a bit more information about how
Vue works in practice.
Can Moselle modules run at different sampling rates? For example, it
could be beneficial to oversample the audio inside a distortion module,
and run the final mixer module at the lower project sample rate.
Regards
Shannon

Hi guys,
I mentioned this a couple years ago on this forum and have done a lot
more development since.
Moselle is a software synthesizer application, currently Windows-only,
currently stand-alone-only, that lets you write patches, play MIDI, and
get sound.
It's based on a modular synthesizer paradigm: oscillator filter envelope
delay and so on.
To patch modules together you use formula almost exactly like Excel
spreadsheets. For instance you might state the input of a filter in
terms of outputs of oscillators, factored by MIDI controllers and so on.
Besides building patches from the built-in modules, you can also write
your own user-defined modules. These can contain math, built-in
modules, and user-defined modules in turn. Patches may also be based on
other patches.
Between us professionals, the project isn't just it's user interface nor
the specific sound modules I happened to write. You could probably use
it for any other family of sound modules, for a synth or effects
processor or what not. If you're with Roland or Native Instruments or
some such, I'd be interested in bouncing around such ideas.
The web site has lots of screen shots, several dozen demo videos,
discussion forums, and free download of the fully-functional alpha release.
I'd love some feedback if you have time and inclination.
