Hello All Music DSP members,
I am SQL developer and I am interested to learn about the music algorithms.
Thank you for letting me join the email list and I discovered the archives so I
will be sifting those!
I am researching models and I was interested to know if there were previous
open source algorithms similar to Shazam that could be brought to the public?
I would like to find/create open source version of audio search within a
population audio set.  The goal is to have a find function. It will be able to
submit a population MP3 file. And small MP3 sample file that is short. The
delivery system will find times in population that the original sample occurred.
So for example if you submit "I have a dream" speech from start to end as the
population. And then submit one of the times he said word "dream" so the output
will show the time that exact pronunciation was sampled and other times that
sound (word) was used as slightly deviated when it was repeated and calculate
deviations.

Thank You,
Michael
