Thank you all for the support on my question. At first I implemented linear interpolation to go on with the coding quickly and skipping this issue, but I'm aware of the spectral cutoff that this implies. When refining the model I will rather have a Lagrange design for the interpolator filter as I done in Matlab in the past. What I was looking for was a quick python design method that would already implement this without having to code it myself. @Olivier: thank you very much, I will adopt your waveguide class, that's what I was looking for.
