Hi! We have a problem currently with rap mixtapes, since they're not really compilations, but they're not really standard albums either; they tend to include new music, sometimes but not always over re-used beats, and to not be included in a standard "discography list" (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lil_Wayne_discography for example where they are separated from the studio albums). I think it would make sense to have "mixtape" as an RG subtype, but I admit I'm worried of it getting used by people not used to hip hop in the old, "bunch of songs" compilation meaning. Does anyone have any better ideas though? (right now MB users seem to be divided on adding them as albums or compilations)
