Finally the thought: Regarding the incessant twirlers -
Make certain that new dancer ladies get told about that right hand.
If it doesn't go UP, they can't go UNDER, and they are in complete control of limiting the twirls. That works like a charm - I've seen the guy with a pouty face after one of the newbies trained like that stiff-armed his attempt, but he got over it, and the ladies didn't get dizzy - they felt empowered by
being
able to communicate their wishes.

Lisa Greenleaf has a great strategy for women when that guy doesn't even seem to get the right hand down hint...

She lets go entirely, takes one step back, and says, "No, don't twirl me!"

I'll bet there are still guys who wouldn't even get that!
