What are the demographics of the folks that are already coming to your
dance? As I remember from when I called for the Rochester dance this
summer, you already have at least some of 20-34 year old folks -- by
the end of the evening we probably had at least 20 or so in that age
range. At least that particular evening, the band and caller were all
in that age range too. Would it help to point that out to them, and
let them know that you're hoping to increase that by advertising in
   their publication?

I was a bit frustrated by a reply I received from a MetroMix editor,

Has anyone experienced this sort of rebuff? What is the appropriate

     deal with it?
The advertising is free, so the only way I can think is to get the
     person
     to a dance.
