Hi all,

How many levels of liability protection does your group have?  Our group, Queen
City Contras (Burlington, Vermont), is considering paying a lawyer for some
details on this matter.  Here's what I have gathered so far:

There seem to be at least 4 levels of legal protection:
-General Liability Insurance.
-Forming a corporation, so the corporation is liable, not the individual
members.

-Officers & Directors Liability Insurance (to protect the officers, directors,
etc.)

-Workers' Compensation Insurance (to protect against a suite from a
"volunteer," who is legally an employee because she/he is compensated by
receiving free/reduced admission, etc.).

Thanks for you comments.
