Great ideas, Dana.   I've always loved David Kaynor's flyers, and your work 
looks great too.

Interesting that there is a difference between logo and a term that I was 
unfamiliar with, a wordmark.  As far as I'm concerned, either one would be fine 
with me.  I just want something that would be recognizable when my "audience" 
sees the announcement for a dance in a beautiful space.
