Triangle Country Dancers (Durham/Carrboro/Chapel Hill, NC) pays sound folks
(who are also regular dancers) $40 for one venue (where there is much less
setup) and $60 at the other (where setup is significantly more involved).

Other groups that I have been associated with vary everywhere from totally
volunteer to paying sound folks a full share the same way a caller or
musician would be paid.
