[ being long unnecessary speech ] Due to lack of time, and personal problems, I have been on a hiatus from MPD for the last few months, on and off. I didn't realize how bad the front page of the wiki had gotten. I was asked to unprotect it a few months ago and it's really gone to crap since. People are putting random things where they don't belong and adding random pages rather then improving the pages that should be. This is not a problem, I know where the issues are and will be cleaning them up over the next few days (weeks?).
Long ago, before all of this I dealt with the unruly front page, added downloads, etc.. It's not perfect but after asking for opinions I got discouraged when someone told me they didn't like it, and it stayed there waiting for me to resurrect it. [ end long unnecessary speech ] Please review[1] this new front page. It's not perfect but it's a hell of a lot better then what we have now. If you don't like it, please give suggestions, or better yet fork the page and show me how it could be done better. I've got a few ideas for some tweaks[2] in places I'm not exactly happy with at the moment, but I'm ready to turn this over to the front page as it's a hell of a lot better than "right column". I want to turn this into the main page in a couple of days or so. Thanks, avuton 1. http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page2 2. Tweaks being merging some content into similar content and cleaning up the blocks. -- avuton -- "I've got a fever.
