Hi, some update on the progress of MPD development:
I am planning to release 0.14.2 next week. There is a good bunch of fixes in the v0.14.x git branch, and a few more will follow. 0.15 development works out well, 538 patches have been merged since 0.14. We have a lot of interesting new features (MMS streaming, Icy-Metadata is back, stickers, MusicBrainz tags, modplug, archives, mixers, ...), more to come soon (Pulse mixer, GStreamer). One month ago, I suggested a 0.15 final release in March. Let's keep up this plan. I am waiting for Linel and Sean to submit their patches, and I hope I'm done with queue support by then. When this is finished, we will freeze the code base, and concentrate on fixing bugs for 0.15. The current goal is to have 0.15~alpha1 within the next 2 or 3 weeks. Linel and Sean: please give me a status update on your work. I say if you have some code which works, but is still flawed, we should merge it, and stabilize step-by-step it in the master git repository.
