Hi,

I'm having a problem with mpd version 0.17 (both as packaged in the Arch Linux
"extra" repo and built from source). When playing back at a volume level any
less than 100%, I get nothing but loud, ugly noise in the left channel and
silence on the right. At full volume playback seems normal.

I bisected it via git to commit 74617389c88ccf630b8cce4b54d9e2fa5afb2259
(output_plugin: the plugin allocates the audio_output object), but that's a
somewhat large commit, and I lack the expertise to debug it further myself.

I'm using pulseaudio for output, and the configure flags I've been testing with
are:

--enable-alsa --enable-ao --enable-debug --enable-ffmpeg --enable-lame-encoder
--enable-lsr --enable-mad --enable-mpg123 --enable-pulse --enable-test

If there's any other information that would be helpful I'd be happy to supply
it.

(I tried to find someplace on the web to file a bug report, but the "Bug
Tracker" link at http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Music_Player_Daemon_Wiki just
redirects me right back to http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Music_Player_Daemon_Wiki.)

Thanks,
Zev Weiss
