Folks,
Recently bug 3843 ( http://bugs.musicpd.org/view.php?id=3843 ) was resolved
as fixed. If i want to take advantage of this, what do i need to do? I
have a custom tag of "mastering". If i add "mastering to my tags list in
/etc/mpd.conf such as
metadata_to_use
"artist,album,title,track,name,genre,date,composer,performer,disc,comment,mastering"
then mpd won't start. Do i need to add it here or will MPD now read all my
tags and add the the ones it's sees?
I'm assuming that mpc would need to be updated to take advantage of them.
I'm using mpd-git and mpc 0.23 and libmpdclient 2.8. Should i run git
versions of those too?
