I need to Take a raw pcm stream coming from an outside source like a d.a.c.
using arecord or alsaloop (whichever is best) and playing it through mpd loop
handler so that the volume can be controlled by a client. I have seen info
about the generic decode but it doesnt seem to be enabled, would applying the
specified patch enable this or is this no longer supported in the code base?
