Dear Kevin, office bearers of SALDEF and other SIKH organizations in America
especially Rajbir Dutta of SALDEF do not consider themselves of Indian origin.
Sant Singh Chatwal Trustee Clinton Library & Treasurer Hillary's Presidential
Campaign, Rajwant Singh President Sikh Council & SALDEF were approched when a
30 yr old Gujarati Liquor store clerk was brutalized after being handcuffed as
well as when the entire community of Indian origin was called Cockroaches,
Animals, Illiterates and Illegal go home by Police Union.
Sant Singh Chatwal, Rajwant Singh never bothered to even reply and Rajbir
Dutta of SALDEF put it in writing it is a local issue they will not intervene.

Carteret in New Jersey Mr. Hardyal Singh told the 23 yr old wife (2nd yr
medical student) of the police brutality victim that her Gujarati Leaders must
have a meeting with his committee members and his committee will have their own
meeting then they will decide whether any help can be given to them. Last year
the committee members of Hardyal Singh were given suggestion to include Hindus
for Baisakhi celebration in NJ Assembly Hall which they turned down by saying
Baisakhi is connected with Guru Maharaj only!
Then a Sikh gentleman who claims himself to be a journalist Mr. Harjayab
Singh at Gurudwara Bridgewater made a comment on the Racial Slurs by Police
Union, "Gujarati to hondey kire makore phir ki hoya jey police ney istra
bolya." On being confronted the Police Union has used the word "INDIAN" not
Gujaratis he left without answering. After 1 month in AICC networking called
me, "Makkar ji Police waley thi gala mun te nahi lagiyi diya asi Punjabi hatte
katte koi kire makore han? goreyan di ankha kharab hagian."
Every Gurudwara in New Jersey, SALDEF, Sikh Coalition & Sikh For Peace was
informed about the incident in Hudson County Jail, where an female inmate got
the "Gutka" without binding & rumala where as the jail authorities were given
everything with full explanation how we respect our Holy Scriptures still they
took out the rumala & binding and gave the inmate loose papers. No one ever
took any action. Recently on 8-30-07 two young Sikh brothers were arrested
early morning from their home in Pajamas and when they tried to put their
"Patka" the arresting officer told them, "Cut this crap." Right now they are in
Passaic County Jail and authorities are not allowing them "Patka" in violation
to their Religious rights
On top of this practically in every Gurudwara in the presence of Sri
Gurugranth Sahib Ji from the dias radicals abuse Hindu's & American Government
for helping Indian Government without application of mind that in the presence
of Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji no one has the right to express hatred for other
communities as well as his or her personal opinion. If Almighty has given
intelligence to them than that person can explain if they are able too, what is
written in the Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji without adding their own opinions.
It is very surprising India has a Sikh Prime minister still some Sikh wants
Political Asylum in America by saying they are being persecuted there. Can
something be done to bring American Sikh organizations under the banner of
"Americans of Indian origin in the larger interest of our community in the name
of Unity among all the community members"?
