Assalamu Alaikum waRahmatullahi waBarkatuh!
Hadhrat Abu Darda narrates (Radi`Allahu anhu),
I heard Prophet (Sall`Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying:
"When any body curses on any thing
then the curse first raises to the sky
that time the sky-doors get closed.
Then that (Curse) comes down to the earth
that time ways to the earth get closed.
Then that (Curse) roam around right & left
but when it does not get ways.
Then it goes to the person to whom it is cursed
if he (whom it has been cursed) really deserves
otherwise the curse returns back to the curser."

Hadhrat Thabit (Radi`Allahu anhu) says:
Prophet (Sall`Allahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
"To curse a Muslim is killing him alike
& to assert a Muslim of Kufr is killing him alike."
