Hi all, I was thinking about a search key what allows to define in which boxes mutt shall look for matching messages. E.g, when ~+ would be that new (folder/box-) key:
~+ =inbox-.* ~f [EMAIL PROTECTED] that would search for all 'From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]' in all boxes matching the pattern: $folder/inbox.* Or so. Reason: At least I split up big boxes into pieces. E.g I might have: inbox-2007 inbox-2006 inbox-2005 inbox-2004 ... When I have no idea where that mail could be, I could then search inside mutt all boxes with a: ~+ inbox-.* , instead of 'grep '...' inbox-* in the shell, outside mutt. cheers anyway calmar -- (o_ It rocks: LINUX + Command-Line-Interface //\ V_/_ http://www.calmar.ws
