Ah, you first convert to wide and then go entirely with it. Now that I
get an impression what it takes for multibyte-awareness, I think that
approach is better and we should try to make your patch ready for
inclusion rather than mine.
So please just ignore my patch. :)
I don't know off-hand if there're other areas where mutt isn't multibyte
aware, but full multibyte support should definitely go into 1.6, IMHO.
