By the way, RFC 3501 reports the meaning of a NO response to SELECT as:
`NO - select failure, now in authenticated state: no such mailbox, can't
access mailbox`
which means that we have to assume the mailbox is not selected afterwards.
I suppose other clients may handle this better because they just update
their cache and treat the error as a temporary access failure. Mutt
doesn't have a first class local cache for IMAP, unfortunately.
