Background display is sometimes incorrect, e.g. on the following mailbox:

If messages 1 and 2 are viewed alternatively without going back to the
index (e.g. with the left and right arrow keys), the length of the blue
background decreases by 3 to 4 characters each time message 1 is viewed.
