#3761: Mutt goes into infinite loop without TERM set
---------------------------------+----------------------
 Reporter: bisson | Owner: mutt-dev
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: major | Milestone: 1.6
Component: mutt | Version: 1.5.23
 Keywords: infinite loop, TERM |
---------------------------------+----------------------
Running a recent mercurial snapshot of mutt, the program goes into
infinite loop when no environment variable is set:

 env -i mutt [email protected] -s "test" < /dev/null

Setting the TERM environment variable fixes this. However the above
infinite loop is a problem when running mutt in unsupervised system
 daemons.
