Thank you for your feedback - could you please elaborate a bit more? I'm
not understanding where the issue lies.
I understand that you might have `charset` set to `iso-8859-1` and tools
that expect text copied (or piped) from the pager to be in `iso-8859-1`.
In that case, you'll still get escaped characters as you would get without
my patch.
But if you use, say, `utf-8`, text in the pager would be `utf-8`, and
you'll be able to see the glyphs the sender originally expected you to
see.
How would this breaks anything than a `charset-hook` wouldn't?
