I do not know if this is helpful, but I discovered one additional detail
playing around now.
If a folder with an identical name exists on both accounts (e.g.,
"=INBOX.Trash"), both are listed in the folders list after pressing "c" in
any account. So two accounts means two listings of "=INBOX.Trash".
However, whichever listing of "=INBOX.Trash" I select, it changes to the
folder under the account where I pressed "c". That is, if I press "c" from
Account2 and then select either listing of "=INBOX.Trash", the folder
changes to Account2/=INBOX.Trash.
