I think so - this version looks good. I'll give a few days for others to chime in. There don't appear to be any applicable IMAP SEARCH extensions for this pattern. I suppose we could fetch BODYSTRUCTURE, and use that, but since we don't currently fetch/parse that in Mutt, it would be a large amount of work for a one-off search feature. I don't know that it's worth it. The code is a bit funny about subtype. There *are* other checks for NULL in a few places, but not uniformly. So far, I can't find a path that would lead to an unset subtype. It may be that at one time, all the paths weren't covered. Or, of course, it may be that I'm missing something!
