To clarify my question:

In connection with a folder hook, the push command works nicely in my muttrc:

                folder-hook . 'push \eV'

But how can I execute some keystrokes just once, ie when starting up mutt?
I tried

<snip------------------snip>
color body        cyan               black "[-a-z_0-9.+]+@[-a-z_0-9.]+"
source ~/.mutt/aliases
source ~/.mutt/keybind
push 'c<Tab><Tab>'
<snip------------------snip>

for example, but to no avail.
