2 remarks here.
1) 0.96.1i vs 0.96.4.us - the problem could have been introduced just
recently
2) I have Solaris 2.5.1 and 2.6 - a bug in curses library is not out
of the question
3) *Resizing* is not very precise, because only making the window
wider causes the bug. Making the window taller doesn't
