| Amazing that one letter makes such a difference! I much prefer the
| second format myself.
And of course, don't forget that one can define macros to switch to
one format or the other.
I use "macro index \Cxl ..." for the L(ist) format, and \Cxf for the
F(rom) format (and similar for the pager, to change the pil lines).
