I am trying to make it easy to move between a set of local folders
and some remote IMAP folders. I seem to be able to go one way but not
the other.

I have in my muttrc file:-
    set folder=~/Mail
which means that (unless I change it) '=' or '+' means my local mail
folder. If I haven't changed folder then 'c?' displays a directory
of my local Mail folder.

If I execute the following to allow me to access my remote IMAP
folders:-
    set folder={x-1.net}INBOX.
then I switch over to using my IMAP folders, 'c=' displays the IMAP
inbox and 'c?' displays the IMAP sub-folders. So far so good.

However getting back is not so easy, if I do:-
    set folder=~/Mail
to get back to my original settings, I *can't* do 'c=' to display a
directory of my local mail folder, I just get a message to say
/home/chris/Mail/ is not a mailbox. I can do 'c!' to get back to my
home mbox but 'c?' still goes to the remote IMAP server.

How can I get back to view my local folders?

It seems that 'c=' by itself works with an IMAP server (maybe it's up
to the IMAP server) but you can't do a 'c=' by itself with files and
directories. On the other hand 'c?' remembers the last folder that
mutt was in and starts from there. What I need to do is to be able to
set the folder where 'c?' starts from.
