Don't see why it would; is '.' a special mailbox shortcut character?

Byrial Jensen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> has a patch which adds '^' to the list of
mailbox shortcuts as "the current mailbox". He says that you can use it
to specify the Fcc: in the compose menu but I'm not yet playing with 1.2x
and haven't tried that; you might, however, be able to use it in your
record setting.

You should be able to pick up patch-1.2.1.bj.current_shortcut.1 from

  http://home.worldonline.dk/~byrial/

or a directory thereunder.

%
% Mutt does send the message, but it does not generate a carbon copy in
% the current mailbox. Is there a way to do this? Or do I just have to
% manually specify the current mailbox?

Well, there's always setting it with folder-hooks, I suppose...
