Nonexistant new mail

Hi all!

Since yesterday I have a really irritating problem:

I have a couple of mailboxes set up in Mutt. Now, starting yesterday,
Mutt doesn't seem to recognize that I have been in a mailbox with new
mail, it keeps telling me I have new mail in two mailboxes, even when
I just left it. It's only two of my mailboxes which behave like this.

What could be the problem?
