Works for me with Mutt 1.2.5. Did you add something like
  mailboxes {[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ssl}INBOX
to your .muttrc? Then try to hit <TAB> after you go 'c?', maybe you are in
the list of files and not the list of mailboxes..
