no mail

Hi,

Is there a way I can get my mail message to show up when I finger my acct or
login?  I'm using procmail to seperate my mailboxes and I don't use 
/var/spool/mail/user
anymore.  I've changed my MAIL environment setting to point to my inbox
file, but still says "no mail" when I log in.
