There is just out the book, "Vi IMproved -- Vim", by Steve Oualline, Foreword by Bram Moolenarr, published by New Riders Press, 2001. It's pretty fabulous, really. A lot is familiar from the Vim online help. This book FAR exceeds the treatment given in O'Reilly's, "Learning the vi Editor" There is an excellent tutorial section to begin the book, followed by a through reference section.
