I'm sure that everybody here knows the problem that some email programs
don't know how to reply correctly to a mail... So the threads are
interrupted or shown something like this:

so i looked in the header of those emails, and found that the emails
which aren't recognized as an reply don't have the In-Reply-To and
the References field. Ok, there is nothing to do.

but in some mails, there *is* the References field (but not the
In-Reply-To) and mutt does *not* recognize it...
is the References field not a kind of In-Reply-To ?
: if not : what is the difference.
: if yes : why does mutt not see it as an reply, and can i change
  someting in the .muttrc to let mutt recognize it?
