That won't help; that simply tells mutt whether or not to jump to the first 'N'ew message in a thread when you uncollapse it (or, in fact, just hit return on the collapsed thread to start reading it). % collapsing option to a positive response. (see the original message.) % none seem to be helpful to keep threads collapsed after receiving new % mail. I don't think that there's any way to do this outside of a patch.
