I tried that for a while, but when I had 100 email in the queue, forking
100 copies of Perl hit my box a _lot_ harder than the equal number of procmail
instances. I'm not sure how good the process-space sharing is on Linux, I
believe it's quite good, but Perl still hit me a lot harder.
I also find procmail excellent, with a lot of support for it in the
community.
