Can the vvv.nntp package be used with a local spool, à la slrn/slrnpull? I just patched 1.3.25i with it, and it's great, but it would be better without the slow Internet article checking, etc.
Also, is there a more appropriate forum for this question? It seems strange that so much work should be put into a patch without there being any support resources devoted to it...
